Steps to Request Account Deletion

To delete your account in the Bible by Heart app, follow these steps:

1. Log in to the account you wish to delete.
2. Navigate to Settings > User settings > Delete account.
3. In the opened screen, enter the following confirmation text in the input field:
   "I confirm deletion of account {your account name}"
4. Click Delete account.

Your account and all associated data will be instantly and permanently deleted. You will be logged out, and you may register again using the same email to start fresh if you wish.

Alternative Method

If you encounter any issues with the deletion process, or if you wish to delete only part of your data, please contact us at: biblebyheartapp@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account. Your request will be handled manually.

Data That Will Be Deleted

• All content written by the user
• Username
• Email address
• Password (stored only as a secure hash)
• Interface language
• Device information used to identify multiple devices
• Privacy settings (e.g., account visibility in friends search)

Data Retention Policy

There is no retention period. All user data is permanently deleted immediately after the account deletion is confirmed.
